The Dark Side

Post by pilgrim55 »

OK mud lovers have decided to come over to the dark side and get meself a syncro, am prepared for the constant drain on the pennies for the upkeep etc (be like getting married and having kids again).

Have been looking for a while, made a few inquiries about various vans, with no success. So wondered if any of you could help me in my quest by keeping an ear and eye out for me.

Although have flirted with a few RHD's and high tops (out of desperation) have now decided not to compromise on a couple of things and it must be LHD, tin or pop top, the rest will depend on what is available and price etc tho ideal would be a panel van.

Please don't tell me of the ones I've just missed as already have a headache with all the banging of head on desk over quite a few.

Pete
If I was in a hurry I wouldn't have bought a VW!

Good decision Pete

Seems with Jake, Jed, Neil, Ian, Lloydy and others I've forgotten the names of, a Surrey Chapter of the Syncronauts is taking shape. You should get lots of good local support.

Then we have Nick & Jon Spong in Kent & others in Sussex (must have a dig through our member database soon, to refresh my memory)

i thought it was called Seeing the Light!

Good luck in your search; if your adventurous keep an eye on www.mobile.de; the best selection of LHD vans is going to be found there and a few of our members have taken the plunge and collected a van from germany with good results.
