Westy pop-top colour

Hi All,

I've got a slightly tired westy roof to pop on my van and i'm going to paint it pretty soon. Any thoughts on the original colour? pure white or off white? I'm going to get a some rustolium mixed up but am thinking of keeping the colour as traditional as poss.
