Clutch slave cylinder

Post by Cableguy »

Hi all, have bought 2 of these so far and none are any good.
First one was from a local motor factor, would fit but would involve altering the hydraulic lines to get it to fit,
second one came from GSF.
Was the right size etc, but was made of plastic(no big deal) and would involve me changing my hoses to snap fittings.
Just want to buy a new replacement without faffing about.
Feel a bit peeved I'm no closer to fixing it.
Have looked on eBay and there's a few 'proper' ones on there for a good price.
Before I take the plunge, does any one have any pointers?
Many thanks

Great thanks everyone!!
When I asked GSF, they just said 'that's what the book says and that's what I've ordered'
funny, I checked brickwerks, but couldn't see one on the site.
Need to go to specsavers.
