Fuel line problem (Irish Keet and Harry Man in WIKI)

Its pretty tight under there and id like to have some idea what im looking for.

(Also, I pulled a pipe of about 3" from through the tinware, but i cant see that it reaches anything to attach to, is it some sort of breather pipe ?!?!?...dont laugh )

dont think there`s much mystery to the ac fuel pipes. follow them back from the carbs to the tank and change them all if their old. its really not worth cutting corners with these.
