Welcome to the club

Round lights and grills are plentiful and relatively cheap both new and used

Square lights on the other hand fetch anywhere from £250 upwards for a used RHD set

Don't buy a van on the basis of which headlamp set up it has
Have you actually been and seen / driven these vans? Be careful you don't end up with 2 vans if they both accept your offers.

Have a good read through the buyers guide in the wiki (button at the top of every page) there's a lot of good information on what to look for and how to check it out
What a long strange trip it's been

You could buy my westy poptop for that, which is now surplus to requirements. Tis rusty, but at least it's not bubbling away under shiny paintwork. Has MOT and tax

Hi all, well I managed to get the one I wanted, im well pleased . 1.9watercooled auto, bronze brick.

He drives great and is solid as a rock, there is a little bubbling here n there(didnt expect a perfect van for 3k), but its generally in good shape, gutters mint, doors, sills, arches etc all sound.

Could peeps please recommend the best establishments (preferrably specialising in VDUBS) to do services etc I also would like to do a Weber twin Carb upgrade any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as im a novice when it comes to these vehicles

thank you all God bless n good luck TanoLococo

ps very interested in adding the option of LPG

pps im in Welshpool on the border about 20 miles from Shrewsbury

If round headlamps are better why do car manufactures not use round headlamps?

And why are square ones so much more to buy if they are not as good as round ones?

I think the price of square lights is purely down to the lack of availability. For some reason rounds one's are manufactured aftermarket but the squares are not
