Temp guage

Post by stevo1980 »

Is my temp gauge sposed to go down as im driving on the mway as the wind is hitting my rad. Comes back up to half way when on normal roads. Also goes a little over half way when strugling up hill. Does this sound normal. Not had a T25 before

Telling us what sort of engine would be useful.

My 1,6TD has similar traits.

Sounds normal to me.
My 1.6D sits bang on the 1/2 way mark in normal stop/start town driving, along a nice level road (or going down hill) it drops a little and uphill it goes up a little. I think I'm paranoid as I keep an eye on the guage a lot for no particular reason!

That's how I drive mine on the Autobahn, one eye on the needle especially when climbing.
