Well I'm up for it. Sunday would be favourite. How about looking round United Downs. The OS and Cornwall Council mapping shows a lot of byeways open to all traffic.
Anyone else? Keeno? I think Hotpod can't this weekend

Looks it like it might be the two of us - say a time and we can sort out a place to meet.

Re: Doka and Other Syncros in Cornwall
Come on people, its not like its a long drive!
Dont need to be out all day either, can always get off home whenever....
So, Pete, I'm up for meeting up, it'd be good to meet some local syncro peeps, even if it is just one. I dont know the area all too well, but i do know i can be united downs way within about 30mins (i'm in Crantock) so if you suggest a place and time, i'll be there.

How about 10.30? Meet at the gate of the stock car track - OS ref 747 414.
Rollercoaster - we can save the Nissan and you can come with one of us.

Spot on! There might be racing on Sunday in which case we wouldn't be too popular blocking the entrance - just have to park up or down the road.

Re: Doka and Other Syncros in Cornwall
Yes it was a top morning with the full range from too easy - to mirror ripping - to stopper hills. Video footage to follow when the E D I T is complete.
Learnt more about my Syncro in three hours of V-lux's company and got a lot of work to do on the semi functioning diff locks - the wiki stuff on diff locks will be handy. Not sure that the decoupler is functioning properly either so probably got up some hills in full 2wd!! It was reassuring (in a way) to know that it took V-lux two years to get his Syncro sorted to his satisfaction - we've only had ours since July so have a lot of catching up to do.
Also got a mirror to replace - anyone got an electric near side mirror for sale?? Although I might go for the LT cab mirror option as well...
Thanks again Al - hopefully we can get some more out next time.

Re: Doka and Other Syncros in Cornwall
Yeah, Happy Birthday Matt!!
Shame you couldn't make today, it was good fun! Look forward to meeting you sometime soon.
Pete and I were chatting today about getting a December meet together, possibly with an overnight camp/few beers/campfire etc if people want to?
If people are up for it we should try and decide on a date that suits everyone.
