Cab Lining Repair or Replacement.

I am absolutely gutted, the cab lining on my van 1990 Holdsworth Villa 3 got ripped this weekend and it was the original and in perfect condition.

I've found someone that can get one made and replace it but the windscreen has to come out and I am really anxious about it. Can anyone make reassuring sounds that has had this done already??

I don't know whether to just stick some tape over it and live with it or to have it replaced.

Soothing words of encouragement will really help, as I said ... gutted ... totally gutted.
