Switch gear raising, what size thread?
Hi, got an Audi S2 steering wheel to go in my van, I have read the the wiki guide and fully understand it, was just wondering what size thread the bolts are the hold the switch gear in place?

strangely etka doesn't give the thread size but I think they are either M4 or just possibly m5, but i haven't got any to check without taking the steering wheel off

Some pictures I took and labelled when I fitted mine.....the mounts are the same used in computers to mount the motherboard, see description of the exact type:





Just be sure that there is a 5mm clearance (approx) between the horn ring and brass contacts....you don't want anything to be catching and shorting.

I have only seen M3 & M6 standoffs so at a guess they are M3
