Hi,
got this DG s/h starter in the post the other day and the bolt for heavy duty starter cable has probably been broken in the post......if you can see the pic i've added it shows how the outer body of the solenoid is slightly danaged and the bold that i presume would usually be in contact with an internal small metal strip in the solenoid has come away from its location. I wondered if I could just use something like JB weld (assuming it conducts electricity) to glue the bolt/terminal back in place? I could take it to the local starter shop for them to do it properly but trying not to spend out on it. Any ideas? Thanks.

As a get me home something could be done but either return/refund else get a new solenoid for it as it looks past it to me

new cap for solenoid, about £25-30 inc labour at your local alternator repair shop
