Doka and Other Syncros in Cornwall

Post by PetenAli »

Whose was the blue Doka parked at Macsalvors in Pool this afternoon? I was in a bit of a rush so couldn't wait to say hello to the owner. It seems like there are quite a few Syncros in Cornwall. I think we may be the newest so it seems a bit cheeky to make the suggestion but would anyone be interested in getting together for some off roading, camping etc? I'd be up for coordinating. Sometimes weekend trips to Wales seem a bit much from the the far South West!

Let me know if you are interested.

Always up for that kind of shenanigans. Count me in.
I know what you mean about the distances to get to 'meets', its a couple of hours until we hit 'civilisation' and actually start getting anywhere!

No idea whose the blue Doka was?

If the blue Doka had a White Vindic, then it was Dan the Hotpod king! As it was Macsalvors, it probably was him getting his diy fix!

Up for a meet anytime. Sure Dan can be persuaded, too! Will see him tomorrow as I am working with him, so will mention a possible meet. Regards, Matt

Yes that would be useful to meet up wild west style,
I can see the wagons all parked up in a circle..

it was mine. dont get to macsalvors often but it is like a toy shop for big boys.
i am definately up for a meet sometime. especially now its getting muddier.
i really wanted to go to wales for the last trip but it is just such a long way.
we should definately make a show at the next devon event though. i have run out of excuses not to go now.

myself and keeno and the BCE had our first "end of the road"syncro meet in january up at ding dong mine near lands end when we had the snow.
we posted about it at the time.

That's more like it! Great pics on that thread - I didn't have my syncro back in Jan or I would have been there.

I know what you mean about Macsalvors - could spend hours in there.

Does anyone want to suggest a date? How about next weekend? If people want to pm me their contact details I'd be happy to do the little bit of coordination necessary. ('Cos of work stuff I don't want to advertise my contact details on the net).

Is there a date for the next Devon event yet?
