replaced speedo cable now petrol and temp not working

Check that the 14pin connector contacts are clean (methyl spirits n clean rag or earbud and fully clicked in, your other dash lights work? i.e. indicator LED, etc. also fusebox check?

and then check the output of the voltage regulator - usually the prob if both gauges are down
