Hose clip pliers

Post by GreatCrestedNewt »

After years of struggling with those factory fitted reusable hose clips, using pliers or vice grips to release and refit, I have decided that the time has come to actually buy a special tool for the job.

Has anyone got a particular recommendation for a type that is handiest for getting at a T25 cooling system?

Cheers.

Yep, plumbers pliers with the pushbutton centre, you can push the button to change the jaw size and let go and they stay put.

Yes, they can be useful but a bit cumbersome. I decided on ANGLED JAW SPRING TYPE HOSE CLIP/CLAMP PLIERS-LOCKABLE from an ebay seller.

A link to the item/supplier would have helped
I am still looking ..........................

Putting the emboldened words above into the ebay search cell will take you straight to the item.
