I'm looking at getting some new mattresses made up for my top bed, foam & material, any suggestions on best companies to contact?

I'd PM Redy1967 on this forum for foam... He'll sort you out for a very reasonable price...

Agree on Pluss organisation in exeter. Very high quality work and you're keeping the centre open and all of them in work - most have disabilities of some sort or another.
