Could anyone advise me please as to what is involved to fix a gearbox on this model [c reg westie] It's jumping out of 2nd gear on overrun, so I guess the synchro is dodgy? What do you think best [a repair the box, bearing mind the other gears might soon be as bad, or b] replace it?
What are the likely costs of either options please?
The van is being advertised on the Ebay and looks to be a pretty good example, save for this problem.
