Yes, almost certainly a box rebuild soon (usually sooner is cheaper than later!) Talk to Aidan Talbot on here for instance, he'll know for that box what it is and how big a rebuild (typically).

In the meantime, check oil level in gbox (see Wiki or ask) and make damn sure it does have some in, prefreably the correct amount. Look for weeps at the joints between gbox castings, that can be the reason it starts going downhill, if quite old, the joints corrode and leak through the gasket.

BUt at a minimum, see if you can get the level plug out (not always easy), if so, dip for the level, then drain and refill regardless, inspecting the magnetic plug and what comes out through a fine sieve. If it's bad you should stop driving it.

Unless you have rebuilt boxes before, I would make sure an expert does it (special tools, techniques and they are highly susceptible to not having absolutely everything that's worn being renewed, and don't always last too long)

A 2nd hand box would be worth finding for yours and if you do get a good one 2nd hand, the old box might fetch something worthwhile from a rebuilder (for whatever's left inside that hasn't suffered).

If you still want to go ahead yourself, I'm sure Aidan will sell you any parts you want, but most on here would likely say get a bespoke gbox rebuild shop to do it for you. They're not like F*rd Fiesta boxes
