hi please help i'm useless with electrics .. friends camper 2 batteries main one keeps loosing charge 2nd isn't much better both new batteries alternator is pumping out fine tested that this morning , any ideas?? thasnks

Where are you taking the reading for the alternator from? If from the back of the alternator also take a reading from the battery with the engine running. If you are still getting readings of around 13.8v and the batteries are good then you must have a drain from something. switch everything off and put an amp clamp on the positive cable of the battery.

cool thanks will try that tomorrow, i tested it from the alternator didn't think to test it from the battery terminals..der lol
