Over winter battery charging

Post by gypo »

Call me a soft lad but i wont be using our bus over the winter so i was wondering what would be the best way to charge the batteries over the winter.
Option 1: Should i leave the hook up plugged in and charge them both off the zig chargers and would this be ok to leave on all winter?
Option 2: Should i use trickle chargers?
Cheers

soft lad!

as above, trickle charge, but you should be running the van on a regular basis if you dont want to be spending half the "new camping season*" repairing the winters deteriorations ........

*camping season is jan to december

You're being ripped off - it's only 17.99 here in the fatherland.
