Re: Autosleeper controls?
try plugging in a 230v kettle.. then you'll knowWe couldn't work out if our power was coming from the hook up or the leisure battery!
no.. because it runs off the alternatorwhen powering the fridge when the engine is running, does it automatically switch the power to the fridge when the ignition is turned off?
no..because it runs off the alternatorDo I need to remember to switch the fridge off so it doesn't drain the battery?
your fridge is three way it is best on either gas or shore power (230v)
12v is really for traveling with an already cooled fridge

Re: Autosleeper controls?
Thanks for the info I've only recently bought the van and and don't have a manual yet although I'd like to buy one if they are available?
The Wiki and a site seach (and even the Electrolux manual) didn't really seem to quite answer my questIons. Maybe that's just my search technique! Anyway, I think I'm clear on them now thanks, other than what those three switches/fuses are under the rear seat...I wish I hadn't touched them now!

The "switches" are circuit breakers just like the ones you might have at home. Instead of blowing a fuse the switch trips. Once you've found out why it tripped you can just re-set the breaker by operating the switch.
2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.

Re: Autosleeper controls?
It looks like you have the mc 2000 control unit and maybe a zig dcu/3 which is additional to the switched rcd. which is fitted to 2.1i or customer special order.
So, the wiki is not entirely correct for the operation of the power management in your van.
However could you try and find some info from the internet, now that you have the model description.
Also Autosleeper can help, just call them.
if you find a manual or any help for users of this forum with the same unit please share it.

Nothing on the mc 2000 yet but came across a site with links to pdf downloads of various zig unit manuals. Not sure if this is useful or not but here it is in case...
