Question on Electrolux Fridge

Post by folkers »

I've just been offered an Electrolux RAM10B gas fridge FREE from a friend from his T2 camper. Just wondering what kind of venting I will need to fit in the T25?
I know I will need to fit an exhaust vent to come out of the side of the van, but is this all I need to fit?

At the moment, there is a fitting on the bottom of the fridge for a flexible hose. Is this OK to use, or does it need to be a copper pipe?

Also is it at all possible to make these fridges run on 12v??

Thanks

a gas fridge is what it is ...a gas fridge... sorry no 12V
You don't need to cut vents in the van side to fit it. But you will need to allow air to circulate around the back where the heat exchangers are. A two inch gap at the bottom and top would suffice

So all you do need is the flue as you say. Correctly fitted.
I would be giving that old fridge a service too before I fitted it

copper is best for gas connection.
