Pushrod Guards

Both left and right hand side pushrod guards have rotten through , do these have to be replaced or is it ok to leave them off ? If they need to be replaced any idea on who would stock them ?

Brickwerks had these on their website ... can't see them now though. VW Heritage have them ... http://www.vwheritage.com/vwh/VW-Camper ... lateID=vwh item 13.

VW didn't put them there for the fun of it ... have a stone or some road debris take a pushrod tube out + lost oil = blown engine + assume the position Anything's better than nothing though I guess

Yep ,must agree its two new pushrod guards then just need to find who has them at the best price
