fuel pump

hi i have just taken my fuel pump off my 2L air cooled to fit a new one from gsf part number 183vg0050 and noticed it only has two nipples for the pipes and there are three on the old one can someone please confirm that this is the correct part as i have no idea what i am doing lol

ok update after looking closely at both pumps they are very different so been onto GSF again and even tho there web site states it is for a t3 they are now saying its for a t2 and they dont even think they do one for my 83 model grrrr

Have you tried Just kampers?

The one I bought for my T25 had just the two pipes albeit they were at different angles to the original which made the inlet pipe hard up against the oil breather pipe. JK seem to offer the right one.........just a thought

The fuel pump for a 1.9DG water cooled & a 1.6CT air cooled are the same and are available from GSF & JK but the fuel pump on the 2.0CU air cooled is completely different. It is obsolete but one can sometimes be obtained from VW Heritage. Most people end fitting an electric fuel pump in place of the original mechanical one.

I couldnt find one for my 2l AC so went with electic fuel pump
