Hello,
Is it a difficult/time consuming job to remove a 5-speed gear stick? I've never delved into the reams of the gears so I'm not sure what to expect when I attempt to remove it tomorrow (It's a 1989 Diesel).
Any hints/tips would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Removing 5-Speed Gear Stick
Hi don't think so....its only nuts and bolts!
some inside under the rubber sleeve, and some in the box above the spare tyre holder.
Look at it all before you remove, so you know how to put it back!!
why is it coming out??

turbo diesel / n/a diesels are different.
all underneath tho.
dont worry about stuff inside the van , do the underneath and lift it from inside the van.

Re: Removing 5-Speed Gear Stick
Could you please take some pictures of how you do it?
I have to do the same job myself soon so a quick How-To would be nice.
