OK just found that I have a space for a leisure battery under seat with all appropriate connections etc insitu! Tight git sold van without. So Ive read the wikki and am afraid its not helped.
Its a Blue Star multi van and im looking at running lights and beer holding box, maybe a blower if im freezing.
What battery do I buy, how does it charge, do I do it? Please dont explain different sorts, just tell me price and what to ask for.
Simple to you teccies but Ive no knowledge in the battery area at all, apart from every five years the alarm goes off and I go buy a new one.
From earlier post I see I should be down Lidls buying a charger. When Im driving does it charge itself up. I have no idea.

Doesn't get a lot simpler than these diagrams. If you can't fathom them out, get someone else to do it.

Jo, if you really have no idea about electrics, dont mess with it, get someone who does to have alook before you spend money, and more importantly before you damage your wiring, bus or yourself...
if i was closer i'd come and look.......
now i would guess its set up to run as a leisure battery, but if the battery isnt there, and the lights ect still work, its isnt connected to that wiring as yet, but something must have been or why would the PO bothered having it there?
it should charge when the engine is running, but if no battery is there, i would have hoped they diabled that part for safety...
oh, and this should be in either tech or campers section really.....

I will go and See Autohouse. Thanks Mocki.
I have the normal battery under the passenger seat (LHD) I was just messing about to see where the jack was when found out i had leisure capacity as well. Didnt put it in teccie cos I didnt want a teccie answer! LOL
The pimpmobile is now mine. Much better than a hankie to wipe the tears away.

Hmmmm, mines like that, got the general wiring but no battery connections - there's never been an auxilary fitted by the looks of it. Think I'll take a look tomorrow. *** Of course that'll open up a whole new can of worms - deciding what to wire into it!
