Heating system diagram

I am looking for a diagram for an 81 Aircooled 2000cc Vanagon. I know I am missing a heater tube and a couple of bits but what I cant find is the fan everyone says is supposed to push the hot air to the front. i just had the entire exhaust system replaced including the exchangers. The heater control pods are free and operate fine although I am missing one cable. I would like to just look at a complete sytem and I can get it working from there. Thanks

The fan is on the alternator, you can't miss it unless it's been taken off!
