Exhaust saddle confusion

Post by Cruz »

Today I picked up the exhaust saddle I ordered 025-251-520F

It's the only side still available.

However when I cross reference the saddle to the VW diagram it does not seem to be the same one.

I get the impression VW have got the part numbers mixed up on their system as when I google the part number the results I get show the item same item VW sent me (first attached picture)

I have attached the VW part diagram (the part I ordered was number 18 but the one I have looks like number 17) and the saddle I have

520 is the right side one, 519 would be the left
the diagram is upside down, it's just one of those things
