New Year Camping - Northumberland
We're looking at going to Northumberland for a week after Christmas. Requirements - a beach to walk on, a pub with a fire to sit in and electric hook up (cause I'm nesh). Don't mind the odd night wild camping (will probably end up at Beadnell at some stage) but does anyone know a site or sites which are open in the winter?

Boulmer, that took me back as it was my first RAF posting in 76!
Try Cresswell as there may be a site with a club house / bar there (Cresswell Towers?) - lovely beach that goes on for miles to the North but, sadly, the nearest pub is The Plough Inn at Ellington about a mile and a half walk up the road
Have fun

Well, I really wasn't expecting that to be; bodged, broken, leaking, lost, missing, mangled, rusty, rotten, stripped, siezed - pass the Stella and it'll all be better
