Fridge - Quick Service

Post by Smudger38 »

Hi all. Decided to rip out my interior at the weekend as I need a spot of welding doing to a panel. The job was not that hard, although disconnecting the wiring was a pain. Anyway pulled the fridge out and this is how it looked - a little rusty to say the least.

The fridge works but not as well as it could, so will leave it upside down for a couple of days. Having read the Wiki, do you think a quick hoover and a coat of Vactan would do the job? Thanks

I took off the lagging round the elements etc, dismantled what I could, attacked it with a wire brush, then painted it with rust treatment. Seemed to do the trick...
