hi heres my problem the copper ring come off the steering wheel and the horn does not work, didnt bother me till yesterday when some little chav in a saxo cut me up and i had no horn to blast at him so i just want to fit a buton on the dash but havent got a clue what wire it so can any body help me please.

simplest way will be to take a new wire from the horn to your button and then to earth.

Find the wires for the original horn button and connect them to a switch or button of your choice. I had a Toyota Starlet in NZ that had a click up-down switch on the dash. This meant you could put the horn on, steer, and "wave" at other drivers all at the same time.
2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.
