Which Fuel Filter

Post by colouredFunk »

Hey

Just got these fuel filters from GSF, but didn't know which one is the correct one.

I've got a 1983 1.9 Petrol.

The guy in GSF reckons it;s the smaller on (says on his computer) but the one I;ve got in there at the moment looks like the bigger one..

Any ideas? Would there actually be any difference?

Shouldn't be any difference. A filter is a filter really. Having said that, the lower one I've had on many beetles. go for the cheapest :D

bigger one is easier to fit and bigger filter surface area, but since you replace them annually (you do don't you ?) not much difference
