I am off to White Mark Farm, Watlington, Oxfordshire later today until Sunday. Nice site, good chippie nearby for supper this evening. Pub nearby serving good food at sensible prices and ale to visit following my hike tomorrow. I may even cook something at some point. I cannot wait!

Hubby's working, so we'll be at home which will mean I'll be on call all weekend..........I wonder what my lovely residents have in store this week. Last weekend, whilst we were at Vanfest, the fire crew (know them well) were here at 8am because one of the residents smoke detectors went off.....her curlers got too hot The weekend before when we were at home.....one of the residents woke me up Sat morning at 7.30am to ask why the Day Centre hadn't been to collect her.....she goes there on a Wednesday So I cherish every time we can get out in the camper

I do love my job though and even the residents love to hear about our camping tales....

Have a fab weekend everyone, whatever you get up too

Great weather until Sunday when it was overcast. I caught the sun on Saturday. The red kites were not as acrobatic as they usually are. They are all moulting at the moment. I still managed to encourage a few to dive down to the ground for some meaty morsels. They always amaze me with their flying skills. I always have a good sleep in my van. Both nights I slept for 8 hours plus. That never happens at home. Why is that?

No-bloody-where considering I am working 12hr-20 minute shifts on wed, thurs, fri and sun, mon, tue

Always a blinding weekend when I am on my back to back. Can't grumble though seeing I recently had 5 blinding days in Cornwall where I never put on a jumper once, day and night.
