CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THESE COLOURS!

Post by lowlifedubz »

(without saying light beige and dark beige! lol)

I spotted this van on ebay the other day & colour wise its the kind of thing I had in mind for mine. Can anyone tell me are these original VW colours and if so does anyone have any names or codes for them?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Top one could be Timor Biege.
The bottom one isn't Timor Biege.

Orange and yellow!

Maybe I've got my contrast set too high.

I think they are original VW colours as I've seen plenty of Devons the same.

Come on. Any Devon owners out there?

pre 1983 only beiges were
Samos Beige H1N and Timor Beige H8T
and the browns were
Agata Brown 86Z, Aswan Brown H8B and Merian Brown A8A, the first and last were special colours M526 for Caravelle special edition so unlikely to be them

Bottom is definitely (T6)Assuan Brown despite my earlier ideas which were based on a alter van I had.

Top looks like (D8)Samos Beige but not sure. Probably the same as this brochure (far right, bottom)
