Have fun, the area round Las Negras and down to the Cabo de Gata have some very nice desert tracks for a gentle run around.
Not at all jealous of you, have a great trip

No no no, we're in the mountains, in the rain! so "the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains" is a bit wrong!.

Try "Playa De Cuevas" if you are in Asturias (not "Cueva", that one exists too!). I loved that place! Very quaint...Your TomTom should have it on there under as a point of interest (Beach). You have to drive through a huge hole in a rock face. As motorhomes dont fit its full of VW's & "similar" (if thats at all possible!).

If you've got a TomTom download these "point of interest" files from the link below and copy and paste them into the folder on your TomTom where all the .ov2 files are.

Went through France, Asturias, Galicia & Portugal and it found us some VERY nice spots....Quite a few "wild camping" ones...some were really great. It doesnt point to an exact destination so if you find yourself on some weird tiny/narrow road then keep driving down that road....more often than not it'll be worth it.

Another good thing to know is that BP have pretty much the only services with proper drinking water on tap (next to the air thing)......Say what you like about them, that won me over!

Hope you're enjoying your trip...sure you'll have an amazing time. Let me know if you master the local cider pouring....I'm still trying at home with Scrumpy's...
