Upper ball joint Bolts?

Post by Rogue Trooper »

Hello... Can someone please tell me what size are the upper ball joint bolts are?

I'm going to replace them as the originals look knacked against my nice new front suspension units!

Thanks

On my notes it says 24mm, the picture shows 15/16th.

I think I did not have a 24mm spanner so used the 15/16ths from my Range Rover days.

aye 24mm, I use a deep socket and keep the weight on the wheel till nut's completely off, try and clean the thread first otherwise it may start spinning, if that happens it's upright off and use angle grinder to cut it above the partially loosened nut; and get the lemforder ones from Baxter most of the rest are not good enough for syncro ime and I've had them all, VW one silly price

The two cap head bolts that hold the ball joint are M10 x 16.
