no need for direct club committee involvememt for a laning event, use this forum to garner interest, we can always pin your threads for a while, even feature it on the website front page.
Do legal lanes exist in any quantity in any one area in Scotland?
But a site event under Syncronauts auspices with an MSA 'event' certificate for insurance needs formalising through the Committee and thus involves more organisation.
For the above, the Syncronauts tend to have a deep distaste of 'pay & play' and driving alongside others at commercial sites... so have their own unique? flavour of event.
It seems though that the majority of syncro owners don't want to play, or at least not with the rest of us, don't know why that is but each to their own; but then if it wasn't for this club and forum the value of their vans wouldn't be going up as much I think.
I think that too, and wonder if its because non participants think everyone who attends, has to drive, or has to drive their own Syncro, or indeed that driving off-road is the only aspect of our events... Camping (wild or refined), cooking, socialising, breaking down, fixing breakdowns as well as a bit of tarmac touring and sightseeing is or can be part of many 8090 SN events
