My nuts are rusty too!

I remember reading Syncropaddy's thread informing us that his nuts were rusty. Haa! I thought, that won't happen to me, I keep my nuts greased. Well that'll teach me, not only have my nuts gone rusty, but the big thing in the middle between the nuts has gone rusty as well.

So I'm looking for some sort of centre cap for my wheels (Merc 15" steelies, poss W124) and some of those nice plastic caps to put on my nuts. You know how it is though, when you don't want any you stumble across dozens, but when you do want some.... Can anyone recommend a source please.

16" centre caps nla from anywhere, try getting Silverbullet to turn something nice out, there's definately a market for a good solution to the Mefro centre cap issue, and no problem getting VW logo stickers to put on same

It's not pain so much as embarrassment.... The Missus says that the nut-rusting is due to age!
