Anyone fancy a special Syncro?

Post by Rusty Dubnuts »

I've decided to sell my Syncro camper so I can get on with building a van the whole family can enjoy, but due to the differing rules between advertising on Club 80-90 and Brickyard, it's only advertised there...but you can't miss it, the advert is huge

It will also be along to Vanfest so feel free to come and have a look, even if you're not in the market.

Laters.

Slight hold on the Ad while Brickyard mods sort their own rules, however, photos here.

If you have a problem with the rules then pm one of the mods or the admin , or pay for your ad on autotrader or ebay

I'd interperated the rules to read that if you had anything unusual that you didn't know the value you could put an "Offers over" type add so I did that, working on a single bid by a set deadline, as they sell houses in Scotland. This fell foul of a mod and the threads been "hidden" till I put a deffinate price - however, the vans probably rarer than a Westy Adlantic Californian Syncro whatsit!

You have to ad a price for you van , easy as , if you think its worth 15 k then price it at 15k , if you want as much as you can get for it then stick it on ebay.

80-90 vehicle for sale rules
This section is for ads for vehicles for sale only - please use the general section for all other items.
Ads run for 28 days then auto delete.
You can E D I T you ad after it is submitted, you can also delete the ad if the item has been sold.
You must include some way for people to get in touch with you, ads cannot be replied to so include a valid e-mail address of perhaps a mobile no.
7/02/2010 All for sale MUST have a price* , even ebay links and links to other sites, failure to do this will lead to your advert being removed
Thank you for your cooperation in this
*this does not mean a starting price to an auction.

No idea where you got the other rules from , please enlighten us

Correct, that was the rules I'd read on 80-90 so I didn't advertise it here as I don't know what a fair price would be. The advert rules I was refering to were on Brickyard but it appears I'd read them wrong. As it is, I'm after advice on what it's worth but how do you ask that without it sounding like a "For Sale" ad?

errrmmm ok then , ask on Brickyard about their forum for sale rules not on 80-90

You van is worth as much as folk are will to pay.
If you want to ask how much they think you van is then ask the question , folk will answer.

OK - 80-90 rules V Brickyard rules out of the way to clear the confusion I've caused, I'll start a thread for advise on price guides and go from there.
Thanks for your input.
