Had the gear box out today to change the clutch on my Doka (2.1dj) it went quite well apart from I seem to have a bit left and I dont know where it is from. Any help will be very much appreciated....
It was on the drive so cant be sure if it is from this van but quite sure it might be
that's not anything I've seen before and I have broken a couple of 2.1 syncro vans down to their constituent parts, it's probably some bit of tat from a house job you did that slipped under the engine lid and was sat ontop of engine bellhousing and just fell out when you dropped the box - it looks like part of a moulineux

I have totally reassembled the gear box, linkage, clutch, engine etc and it turns out whoever had the gearbox out last used this bit of metal as one of the big washers on the front mount of the gearbox. It must have been on top because if it was underneath the gearbox would have been slightly out. Soooooo glad you dont have to change a clutch on a Syncro to often as their is some work changing it alright. Like most jobs It looks to be easier on a Diesel
I've got loads of the mounts, nylon bits, rubber bits, bolts, washers if you need anything for VF let me know, I should be going to the lockup tommorow
