push rod tube seals
hiya can anyone suggest where to get original vw push rod seals as i have been told the gsf ones are naff, also just kampers are out of plug leads fand coil for the 2ltr Aircooled cu unit, are there any other placxes that sell these as most others places ive looke d at only seem to do bay or beetle ones cheers gary

Try these people in Peterborough
Coil is Intermotor 11420
They might be able to help with leads but make sure they are the right ones and they dont try to fob you off with the horrible ones with the big metal plug caps

nice one thanks for that, i have the metal cover ones on at the moment the metal caps are on all the plugs too not just the 2nd and 4th cylinders, any ideals regarding the push rod seals cheers

I also need to order the push rod seals, Justkampers have them in stock but no tubes and no rocker cover gaskets available there at the moment.
1981 2.0l Aircooled ex German post office van coverted to camper.

just kampers dont have the leads , coil, elec fuel pump, basicly everything i need

GSF pushrod seals ("o" rings) seem to be ok....... (bef in peterboghorror too)

nice one gsf or just kampers it is, the only thing thats worring me is the strange bloody spring thingy that goes across them, the 1st time i saw it i nearly pulled it out thinking that it shouldnt have been there what a tit, i shall get some and bite the bullet
