In the late 70's and 80's at the VW shows in the states they used to have a contest where they would take a running beetle, drive it 1o feet, remove the engine, drag it to and back from that 10 ft line, reinstall the engine and drive the car back over the same 10 ft line. record for 1 guy was something like 7 minutes, 2 guys 4 minutes.
