Has it been running in the doka before? If not make sure the 12 volt cable is thick enough to carry the amps and make sure there are no joins in the cable either because you would loose amps on each join.

Re: propex
just google propex model number fault codes, the manual is on their website in pdf form
http://www.propexheatsource.co.uk/pdf/H ... ssue_2.pdf for example
5 flashes is blocked combustion air intake/exhaust - usually this means the optical fan speed sensor is not running freely, so you need to give it a hand, airline into the intake will usually get it going the sealed bearing it runs on grease goes solid and it won't run quick enough so thinks there's a blockage, that's why the manual says to run it every month even in the summer otherwise when you do come to use it it won't run, and you want to check it's ok before you go away unless you carry a compressor and airline with you on hols

Re: propex
Is it a new one? I had the same problem, fitted two new units in two vans and both had the same fault. Spoke to Propex technical help and the guy there said that it was a fault with some of the new units sensors. It can be sorted out by using a 1 metre length of pipe for the inlet combustion air, he sent me two lots of pipe free of charge by courier the next day.
