Since I got the van Ive been having trouble when I fill up with fuel.
Basically the fuel pump cuts off every 7pence or so. it happens at all petrol stations and not just one.
so it takes a good 5 minutes to fill up with £20!
is this something to do with the breather pipe? or has anyone else had this trouble?
any suggestions would be good as Im taking it off the road soon to strip the hammerite off and want to do any of the little(or big) jobs that need doing!
Ta in advance as always!!

Re: Having trouble filling up!
Sounds like a blocked filler neck to me - can't be too far away as 7p of petrol is nothing. The pumps do click off with mine when filling up if I've got the trigger firmly pressed and I haven't got the nozzle pointing at the right angle in the filler neck though.

The tank needs room to breath too - check the vent pipes aren't clogged up otherwise its like connecting a tube from a tap to a small bottle and assuming you'll be able to fill the bottle. It won't as there is nowhere for the air to go.
