accelarator pedal sticking
brokedown tonight accelarator pedal sticking on. if i lift the pedal up by hand the revs droped.had aa out and they said a spring had come off . is this right on a 1983 transporter . its petrol is the sring at the front of the van cheers

likely to be the cable, disconnect it at the carb and rev it by hand if its ok id suspect the cable....cheap and easy to fix

on petrol there is a spring, that returns the cable mechanism to it's resting place.
Not sure if new cables have the spring included though
