Thinking of Selling the Syncro...

Post by SyncroSwede »

for a number of reasons really; I'm not using the 4x4 capability much and not getting away camping in it a lot either and also very much in need of a simpler vehicle for commuting and everyday use. Space where I live has become an issue too, such accommodating neighbours! And so, with a rather heavy heart I feel I need to sort out selling the beast. When I get it cleaned over the coming week, I will get some up to date photos and sort out an ad.

In the meantime, can anyone pass on their experiences of where they got the best response when selling or perhaps where they found theirs. If anyone's has been hankering after a 16" window van or know of someone who is then feel free to shout up too.

I was planning on advertising here and on Brickyard first and perhaps an ebay classified ad but was also going to ask Mike Plompen in Belgium to post the details on his BUSMAN site too as the vehicle is LHD and would suit the rest of Europe better.

Appreciate your input in advance… :ok

If you click the garage link below my avatar you'll get a few pictures from 2008 and a brief write up which is up to date.

Please don't ask for an asking price yet, 1. I haven't decided and 2. the ad is the place for that… :)

Sell the house and get rid of the neighbours, then live in the van, stop doing overtime to pay for the house and go away lots :ok
you can always get another place to live

Cheers Aidan! Working on the house thing too, the neighbours are killing me slowly.

There is a plan B, it just doesn't involve having so much tied up in one vehicle.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is 'Vee dubya' shaped!

Shame your selling Mal, I hope you are thinking of the T5!!

Our syncro has just blasted the thousand miles here to Copenhagen (the apple shops are great for checking out the web)

I think patience is the best virtue for selling a great Syncro, and they dont come much cleaner or more solid than yours.

Having seen the T5s being built I'd stick to T3, gosh the metal is thin
and yes I know a lot of it is heat treated but still,
and have you seen the price of panels for them, and the T4

You know you'll regret it Mal.
I know you will, but explore all other options first....

Thought of that but I'm out of the country then. Shame.
