Better shocks for 30mm lowered van?

Post by Pootle »

I've got the Just Kampers 30mm lowered springs and the uprated shock absorber kit here: http://tinyurl.com/359gd6z" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The ride is too harsh on Bristol's roads - the shocks bottom-out too easily (I have trimmed the bump stops).

Can anyone recommend better shocks? Would something progressive help?

I can't find a link for the Bilsteins on the Brickwerks website - is Simon still selling them?

They were on there a few weeks back. Must've stopped selling them. That's a bugger, cos I want some too.

May just be out of stock and Simon's been on holiday so he may have removed them from the webshop until he got back to work??

Try http://www.sales@brickwerks.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just emailed them, they are waiting for stock to arrive. Then will put them back on the web shop.

Can't remember the price because they're not listed on the site at the moment.
Thought they were more than that though.
Where can you get them from then?
I'm all for saving money:-)

When are they coming in Simon? Will they be suitable for my 45mm-lowered van?

Are they normal length ones but Bilstein, or are they lowered ones?

I know you can get really short dumpy ones for slammed bugs. Just wondered if you could get the same for T25's. I know many people use lowered springs but keep stock length shocks, I pressumed this was the way with most of you guys.
