what grease to use on seat runners

HI folks having both front seats recovered this week so thought i'd re grease the runners. Can anyone advise on what the best grease to use please. Cheers

Normal high-melting point grease as used on wheel bearing will be fine, but if you can get it, use white grease (sometimes called food grease) as its less likely to stain hands/clothing/upholstery if it comes into contact. Ideal grease for sliding door runners too!

Carefully clean the old grease off first. :D

Thanks Cov I have a can odf spray white grease so thats all good.
As for cleaning the old grease not a lot to do there as it was a dry as a bone. Hopefully they will run like a dream when i get the seats back. :wink:
