noise from wheel arch ( drivers side )
So where just driving home after a 500 mile round trip and have had to pull over, there is a knocking noise that increases its tempo with acceleration, the noise can only be heard when I actually press the accelerator, I was rolling down a hill and the noise didn't happen until I pressed the accelerator. It comes from the driver's side wheel arch or maybe just behind there and its pretty loud, any ideas?

Wheel bolts loose?
Antiroll bar drop link broken
Shock absorber fault (no oil perhaps)

hi, thanks for your reply, nope its neither of them, took it to the mechanic yesterday and it wouldn't make the noise! He couldnt find anything obviously wrong so will have to go when it reappears! Cheers
