Okay, dont shout at me - I know there are loads of posts about this, but a lot of it seems to be conflicting.
Advice seems to be that the best are MT90 or MTL from Redline, but they're a bit pricey for me. Alternatives are "FUCHS TITAN SYN GEAR OIL 75W-90", from GSF, or "Millers 75w-90"
But, the Fuchs stuff is listed as GL5 on GSF and I've read this is incompatible - is that right?
And millers do several 75-90 oils, can anyone be more specific?

Re: Gearbox oil recommedation clarification
Aidan will be along in a min...
But the Fuchs titan syngear is what Aidan was recomending.. I think he has used the Millers stuff too.. I cant remember which is in mine... but its prob due a change in any case...
Some, not all, GL5 oil is GL4 compatible.. (usually dual rated)
Some GL5 oil will dissolve the "yellow metal" parts in the box very quickly...
If in any doubt and NEEDS to be done ASAP, use a GL4 or GL4+ (the 4+ is whats specified for peugeot/citroen gearbox's) in a 75w90 or 80w or 90w

Re: Gearbox oil recommedation clarification
use anything 75w/90 or 80w/90 that is GL4 compatible
the Fuchs Titan is not generally available now from gsf (the version they sold was gl4 and gl5 compatible)they've gone to the carplan stuff which is fine
