although the guard plate at the barrel is missing
(there used to be atime when I coud dismantle/re-assemble these things blindfold ...never got to drive an Iltis though ...only a T3, a Passat and a MAN truck)

Came across this little beauty, now I would love to off road in this. Porsche 597, 4 amphibious ones made, and had a climb ability of 65%. Auto engaging 4wd.?
