Fed up trying to sell my syncro
I'm getting fed up trying to sell my syncro. It's a really good one according to the mot guy ie solid, and Syncronuts say it's one of the best uk rhd ones about. Yet It just won't sell for 4K, which is what I paid for it. I'm concidering breaking this van for spares as I think it'll get my money back this way. Seems a shame but I've got a family and have got fedup messing about. Any ideas

Re: Fed up trying to sell my syncro
the trouble with the RHD vans is that nobody wants them in europe so the market is limited slightly compared with LHD. i`m sure there`s plenty of 2wd owners on here that would love it but it`s all down to money. that doesn`t mean its not worth what you`re asking it`s just that money is tight for a lot of people.
i`ve not seen it for sale myself so maybe many others haven`t either. posting a link up may help.
good luck lee.

Re: Fed up trying to sell my syncro
seen link now. van looks ok but to be honest i think you need to sell it better the pictures alone wont sell it for £4000. specs, history and money spent on it all helps. no offers always puts me off as it comes across that you`re not flexable.

Re: Fed up trying to sell my syncro
As lee said ..you need to talk it up a bit more.
Also, quite a few goodies on that van that need a special mention:
- 2 difflocks (LHD vans don't all have them)
- captain seats
- chrome bumpers
- original Syncro towbar
- 6" wide steelies (now quite rare) and the flared mudguards on the wheelarches (even rarer)
- and last but not least ...it's a 2.1 and not a wheezy 1.9

Re: Fed up trying to sell my syncro
vanfest is only just a month away, and seeing as vw have a 25 years of the syncro display, i would say take it there and stick it up for salekezboosnez wrote:I'm getting fed up trying to sell my syncro. Re: Fed up trying to sell my syncro
Cheers guys.
I have advertised this on loads of sites. Originally I had a huge ad with loads of deatail, but that was doing nowt. I thought maybe it was just to much info for folks. The reason i'm not open to offers, is because I originally had it advertised for more. 4K is my bottom price as I need my money back as i'm stuck in a minimum wage job. I'd love to go to vanfest, but unfortunately my dad got lymphatic cancer and wants to go to something uphere at the same time and I couldn't really refuse as you never know whats round the corner. To top it all off my mums just outta the hospital from a spinal op to try and regain better use or her legs which have been getting progressively worse since a car crash a few years back. So i'm kinda running around after my folks at the moment hense the can't really be doing with the extra hassle. Think your bang on with the pic's, I'll get some better onesnot showing all the wee faults in the bodywork, just I like to be honest about it
Cheers for all your suggestions, much appreciated
